Using Silence to Maintain Presence and Evoke Awareness with Laura Janusik

Newer coaches tell me they feel like an imposter or fraud because they don’t know how they add value when they’re just listening. More experienced coaches tell me that their ability to Hold Space is one of things that made them feel like a real coach. That is the paradox of Holding Space. It’s in the silence that you provide the client with time to think so they can find their answers.

Join Laura, also known as DrJListen, as she unpacks some of the researched benefits of silence and 2 strategies to holding space that you’ll practice to master in break out rooms. This presentation has something for both beginning and advanced coaches!

Learning Objectives:

1.     Coaches will understand how listening adds value to client.

2.     Coaches will learn two techniques that can be used to help your client go deeper.

3.     Coaches will practice the techniques to become more comfortable with strategic silence.

Participants will earn 1.5 Core Competency CCEs for attending.
